Cape May Forum Prepares for New Programs and Growth
Names New Board Members and Director
Cape May, NJ – October 27, 2011 – Following a well-received 2011 season of programs around “The Politics of Food in the 21st Century,”
the Cape May Forum announced a 2012 theme of “Sustainable Energy,” and named Norris Clark as a part-time director
starting in November.
“Encouraged by the participant survey feedback regarding our 2011 program, the board saw the
wind at our back,” says Cape May Forum Chair, Ronnie Cohen. “We’re taking Cape May Forum to another level,
and further developing our programs. We’re thrilled that Norris Clark, a veteran of outstanding cultural and educational
programs, has agreed to join our team. Norris’ work in the early 1990s with the Cape May Institute, including the Art
Kane Photo Workshops, was a source of inspiration for our Chautauqua-style Cape May Forum.”

consultancy (www.Bayshorecomm.com), Norris Clark will support the Cape May Forum and serve as director, working with the board and committees to further develop
and promote the programs.

Norris, “When I moderated one of the Forum’s panel discussions this year, I was blown away by engaged discussion
concerning vital, socially relevant issues. I thought back to our early discussions with Danny Cohen about having events like
this, and our visits to Chautauqua with Steve Miller and my cousin Curtis Bashaw. I am delighted to see all this come to fruition
for the greater Cape May community and its visitors.”
To augment the Cape May Forum board of directors, and further support its growth, additional board
members were named, including Cape Advisors co-founder, Curtis Bashaw and public relations executive, Nancy Bacher Long.
