Spring Theme: "Liberty and Justice for All"

Cape May Forum is planning an amazing series of programs for 2016. These programs start in the spring and take place each month throughout the year.  

  • Thursday, April 14th. Our Annual Farm-to-Table Dinner.  We will be announcing our keynote speaker shortly.
  • Sunday, April 17th.  A Panel Discussion followed by a lively "Q&A" on our theme of "With Liberty and Justice For All".  
  • May 2016.  A dinner prior to the East Lynne Theatre Company production of "Lincoln" with a talkback following the show.
  • Saturday, May 14th.  A live presentation of the Grimke sisters, abolitionists and women's rights advocates, based on the book, "The Invention of Wings" by Susan Monk Kidd.
  • Saturday, June 11th.  A Secret Garden Tour of Victorian Cape May.
  • Thursday, June 16th.  A dinner and talkback of "The Whipping Man" playing at Cape May Stage.
  • July 2016.  Judge Nelson Johnson will talk about his book, 'Boardwalk Empire."
  • August 2016.  African American Music Presentation.  "Songs of Slavery and Freedom"
  • September 18th.  A dinner and talkback following the Cape May Film Society showing of "Twelve  Years A Slave."
  • September 2016.  Civil War Songs at the Cold Spring Village encampment.

In addition, we are offering programs for local school students on "Getting the job you want," the arts, leadership, tolerance, and a hands-on program in math and science. So save the dates and join us for what promises to be a most wonderful year!
